Godini, u Hrvatskom školskom muzeju i muzeju Prigorja u Sesvetama.

Valentina Marđetko was born in 1998 in Zagreb.
She completed her master’s degree in landscape architecture in 2013 at the Faculty of Agriculture in Zagreb, and in 2016 she became a creative painter at the Academy of Fine Arts, Creativity and Design – Tanay Studio.

Since kindergarden age she has had an interest for creation and expression, but only recently in 2014 she has seriously started devoting to drawing and painting.

She uses different techniques of painting: oil on canvas; acrylic on canvas, glass, wood, ceramics; Indian ink. She is most interested in the art od Indian ink for this technique can achieve great and interesting elements of the painting, and graphics that, contrary to ink and watercolor, provide stricter lines and elements. She finds the contrast in the way of creating paintings and linking these two extremes into a harmonious whole very satisfying.

Valentina finds inspiration in the natural phenomena, the relationships between the elements in space and observation of the environment but most in relation of straight lines constructed elements and irregular lines of vegetation and how together they create the perfect blend of opposites. Therefore, the frequent motives she uses are of landscapes, details of the nature and cityscapes.

So far she has participated in two group exhibitions in 2016; in the Croatian School Museum and the Prigorje Museum in Sesvete.
